How can I participate?

Great you're interested! The application opened on the 6th of July. Students from all faculties and young professionals are welcome, we will focus on staffing the teams multidisciplinary.

Do I need to know how to code?

No. Also without knowing how to code, you will be a valuable part of the team. Also, there will be challenges, which do not involve programming. 

What does the application process look like?

After applying through our website, we will screen each application thoroughly. Our decision is based on your expertise as well as a fit to the track and the rest of the team. We will let you know by July 18th if you’ll be part of this hackathon.

What topics will I work on?

 

Depending on the track that you are joining, you will dive deeper into the respective topic. Our tracks feature a broad range of different fields, like machine learning, user-centric design, engineering, software development and more... You can choose your track depending on interest and expertise. Our Coaches will be there the whole time to guide you, but the biggest contribution will be your ideas and creativity.

What will be the outcome of my work?

 

On Sunday at you will present the final results of your work to our jury in a 6-minute pitch. For this, we highly encourage you to focus on the proof of concept of your project and to keep the slides at minimum. 

Can I help you with the event organization?

Sure! Since we are a student initiative who want to bring modern disruptive technologies and engineering education together, we are more than happy to welcome you supporting us. Check out our "open roles" and feel free to reach out!

What do I need to bring?

 

Just bring your laptop and you'll be good to go! 

Will there be food?

Yes, we'll provide lunch each day and non-alcoholic drinks.
